Dubai Silicon Oasis”, signing a MOU with the UAE Inventors Association to support Entrepreneurs

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), recently signed a memorandum of understanding with UAE Inventors Association to collaborate in initiatives that enhance the business environment in Dubai and support local talents. 

Ghanim Al Falasi, Senior Vice President of People Happiness and Innovation at DSOA, and Engineer Ahmed Abdullah Majan, Chairman of UAE Inventors Association, signed the MoU in presence of Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Deputy CEO of DSOA, and senior officials from both sides. 

Under the one-year agreement, DSOA will provide UAE Inventors Association a light industrial unit free of cost for the development of two successful inventions. Theses inventions will be made available to DSOA, the Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (DTEC) and the startups based in the community. In addition, UAE Inventors Association will benefit from preferential rates in any other facility provided by DSOA. 

Moreover, UAE Inventors Association will conduct a minimum of three open-to- public educational seminars in DTEC and provide mentoring services to companies, students and the wider communities at DSO. Furthermore, UAE Inventors Association will offer student of DSO-based schools and university an internship opportunity within their job.
