The United Arab Emirates has won full membership in the International Federation of Inventors (IFIA). This came during the meeting of the General Assembly of the Union today on the sidelines of the International Exhibition of Ideas, Inventions and Innovations “INA”, which is currently being held at the Exhibition Center in the German city of Nuremberg.
Emirati inventor Ahmed Majan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Inventors Association, expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and his support for the invention process in the UAE, and His Excellency Hessa bint Issa Bu Humaid, Minister of Community Development, for her support of the initiative to establish the association, which works to promote volunteer work in The field of invention, spreading awareness of invention and knowledge, supporting national capabilities in it, and representing Emirati inventors in international forums.
The association’s full membership in the International Federation of Inventors allows working on the technical advancement of inventors, developing their skills, participating in specialized courses, conferences, exhibitions and international forums, exchanging experiences and providing all means for inventors to highlight their inventions and supporting them in the media, technically and legall
