The Ministry of Defense and the UAE Inventors Association signed a memorandum of understanding on developing aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of innovations. The memorandum provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and transfer knowledge between members of the association and employees of the Ministry of Defense through the establishment of a permanent and advanced partnership and cooperation relationship that benefits in the areas of innovation, dissemination of a culture of creativity and encouragement to put forward innovative ideas individually or collectively, and to make maximum use of the capabilities available to each party in a way that contributes to Integration of visions and plans for development and capacity building for the talented and creative, in an effort to develop human capital and win the bet to achieve excellence for the United Arab Emirates. 
For his part, the Emirati inventor Ahmed Majan, Chairman of the Society's Board of Directors, said that the Society, since its establishment, has contributed to uniting inventors and providing an environment that supports their innovations, and has finally obtained membership in the Society.
